ARSMD

is the joint website of working groups of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine of the Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck and the Universität zu Lübeck field of medicine and medical technology with the intent to introduce the TEAM and to present the current PROJECTS / PROJECT NETWORKS.

Research areas

ARSMD interdisciplinary addresses the following topics of medicine and medical technology:

• Non-invasive and invasive sensors, monitoring and procedures
• Blood gas analysis
• Ventilation and respiratory assistance techniques
• Application of complex systems
• Reference analysis of drugs and hormones in blood, plasma and respiratory gases

The close cooperation of the individual working groups results in a wide range of knowledge and an interdisciplinary network.

The spectrum includes, among other things:

• Engineering linked with chemistry, physics, bio-signal processing and computer science
• Statistics
• Clinical trials
• Approval according to the law for medical products
• Determining biochemical and pharmacological determining by HPLC, LC -MS , GC-MS , SPME
• Interaction of systems (imaging, radiotherapy) in the operating room and in interventions with a focus on patient safety and applicability
